Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month, generally at the Transport Museum, Glenorchy. Apart from discussions of Society business, talks, films and slides of transport topics are a regular feature. The Society also conducts excursions of various kinds and inspection visits.
The assistance of members in restoring and maintaining vehicles and other exhibits, keeping the site well presented, and staffing the museum on weekends and special occasions is greatly valued.
The museum is operated entirely by members volunteering their time to ensure that the museum is open to the public.
